SPRING 1992
Two years out of college Bill Parisi begins working Out of a $500 dollar van driving from school to school teaching speed training to athletes. His first Client, T.J. Fay increases his 40-yard dash from 4.67 to 4.45 seconds and the story is featured in the local paper. SUMMER 1994
Former Ramapo High School quarterback Chris Simms, as an eighth grader begins training with Parisi, he becomes the highest profile high school athlete involved with the Speed School. SPRING 1997
Parisi starts working as a conditioning consultant with the Giants. JANUARY 2001
Opens a third company owned store, a full service health club facility. A 32,000 square foot building of which 16,000 square feet is a Parisi Sports Club and the other 16,000 square feet a Parisi Speed School. This facility becomes the flagship of all Parisi Speed Schools. 2003
Parisi begins to build national brand with results from NFL Combine and other world class athletes and starts it’s 8-part DVD series for improving game speed. 2005
Parisi begins to sell franchises of its business systems and training methods and signs a partnership agreement with Freemotion Fitness, 8 units are sold in 7 states around the country in the second half of 2005. Fabian Washington runs the fastest 40-yard dash at the 2005 NFL combine a 4.25 seconds and gets drafted in the first round to the Oakland Raiders. Matt Jones, a 6’6” 240 pound quarterback from the University of Arkansas shocks the NFL and runs an amazing 4.37 second 40-yard dash and gets drafted in the 1st round by the Jacksonville Jaguars. |
FALL 1993
Opens first facility in Wyckoff, a 3,000 square- Foot personal training studio specializing in youth Sports Performance Speed Development. WINTER 1994
Garfield’s Wayne Chrebet trains with Parisi before trying out with the Jets. SPRING 1998
Opens second facility a (Parisi Sports Club) 16,000 square foot full service health club with the Parisi Speed School inside, occupying 2,500 square feet of that facility. WINTER 2002
Bryan Thomas, a sleeper in the 2002 NFL draft increases his speed from 4.65 to 4.42 seconds weighing 268 pounds and surprises scouts at the NFL combine. He is drafted in the first round by the NY Jets and later signs a 5-year contract worth over 9 million dollars with incentives. 2004
Opens a 4th company owned facility, a 29,000 square foot operation of which 20,000 square feet is a health club and 9,000 feet a Parisi Speed School. 2006
Parisi trained athletes Valerie Fleming and Shauna Rohbock win Olympic Silver Medals in 2 women Bobsled event. Parisi produces 3 of the top 6 fastest athletes at the 2006 NFL combine.
