Steve Leo
Director of Training

Bio:  Steve has been training for 12 years, and an employee at Parisi's for the past 11 years.  He has been hired by Nike to conduct speed-testing camps through SAQ program . Steve was a three-sport varsity athlete at Hawthorne High School in Football, Wrestling (Captain, All-conference) and Baseball. He continued his education at Northeastern and William Paterson University in exercise Science Steve has ten years of experience coaching athletes including Head Coach of Saddle River Wrestling 4 years, Hawthorne High School Wrestling 3 Years, Bergen Catholic Wrestling 1 year, ASA Softball Coach 3 years, and MABL Baseball Coach 4 years. Steve continues playing competitive baseball in the North Jersey Men's Adult Baseball League. Steve has Five years of experience in personal training of athletes including USA National Team Wrestling, Major and Minor League Baseball, Olympic Judo, NFL & Arena football players.

Certifications:  Advanced Level Certified Personal Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), National Interscholastic Federation Coaches Association (NFICA-A.C.E.P program), Member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y Cerified Instructor and VIRTUS Certified (Protecting Gods Children).

Joe Georgewitz

Bio:  Joe is a graduate from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Exercise Science. He began his athletic career as a baseball and basketball player in Bloomfield.  While playing shortstop and second base at Bloomfield High School, Joe served as captain and earned All-League, All-Conference, and All-County honors.  Joe has also worked with various baseball academies developing young players as well as interning at our very own Parisi Speed School before becoming our current evaluator. 

Certifications:  BS--Health and Exercise Science, Certified Performance Specialist by The National Academy of Sports Medicine, CPR and First Aid

Chris Hoffmann

Bio:  Chris was a three-sport athlete at Cazenovia High School located in Central New York where he played football, basketball, and lacrosse. Earned all-state honors his Junior and Senior years in Football and helping his team to a sectional championship one year. In basketball he earned 1st team All League twice and in lacrosse he was a 1st Team All Conference selection twice while earning All CNY honorable mention his Senior year. Named the Most Outstanding Male Athlete his senior year at Cazenovia. Chris then accepted a Lacrosse Scholarship to play at Rutgers University where he was a four year letter winner and served as a team captain his senior year. Graduated from RU in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Sport Studies (Concentration: Sport Management).

Brian Sammon

Bio: Brian Sammon has worked in a professional baseball school for 5 years instructing baseball techniques and knowledge with scouts and professional baseball players.  His athletic career began in high school were he was a three sport athlete in Baseball (Captain, All Area & Conference), Soccer and Wrestling, earning multiple letters in each.  He has also played three years of NCAA Division III baseball, which he still continues to play competitively in the North Jersey Men’s Adult Baseball League.

Certification: Graduate of William Paterson University with a Bachelors Degree in Movement Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology.  He is certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association and also a Certified Personal Trainer . 

   

Terrence Fabor
Trainer

Bio:  During my time at Clifton High School I had played football (middle linebacker) for four years, three of which were spent at the varsity level. Along with football in Clifton I also participated in track and field my senior year and recorded a personal best fifty-three foot in the shot put. During my time at Clifton I earned all league honors and was selected to county all star  teams.

After high school I attended William Paterson University, where I studied for my degree in Exercise Physiology.  I played outside linebacker for two years, earning varsity letters both years.

I later sustained an injury to my hand and decided to concentrate my efforts on achieving my degree. To date I have been a trainer for three years.

A quote that most expresses me is  "Pain is temporary and pride is forever".

Joe Palmisano
Trainer

Bio:  Joe is a graduate from William Paterson University with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology. He has been an athlete since he was a child. At Vernon Township High school, he lettered in baseball and football for 3 seasons each. Joe has been a personal trainer for 3 years and specializes in resistance training for athletes.

Certifications: Certified Personal Trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, B.S. in Exercise Physiology, First Aid and CPR.

Mallory Tornetta
Trainer

Bio: Is a performance coach at the Parisi Speed School. Originally from Pennsylvania, Mallory attended Great Valley High School in Malvern, Pa where she played both varsity field hockey and lacrosse, helping her team win two state lacrosse titles in 2002 and 2005. She was a two time first team All-American for lacrosse, a four time first team all area selection, was selected as player of the year as a junior and received Great Valley’s outstanding female athlete award her senior year. She also currently holds the record for total points with 486 and assists with 227. Mallory then earned a full lacrosse scholarship to Rutgers University, where she was a four year member of the women’s lacrosse team earning captain her junior year and big east academic all star honors her sophomore, junior, and senior year. While at Rutgers she earned her bachelors in communications and a minor in psychology.

Zachary Lancaster
Trainer

Bio: Zach is a performance coach at the Parisi Speed School. A graduate of Montclair State University where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition with a Concentration in Dietetics. While at Montclair State, Zach played Ice Hockey and was named team captain for three years and as a senior he helped his team to make the schools first ever trip to the National Tournament. Prior to Montclair State University Zach attended Morris Knolls High School where he played varsity soccer, track, and four years of varsity ice hockey. His senior year his team won the schools first State Ice Hockey Championship.
