Myles Christian - Director of Parisi at Xcel Sportsplex

Myles was a running back at the University of Alabama from 1995 to 1999. He was also a member of the 1999 SEC championship team. He graduated with a B.S. degree in Sports Fitness Management. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, USAW sports performance coach and a USATF member.

He has over ten years' of experience in the strength and conditioning field. He worked for Western Carolina University for six years as their strength and conditioning coach and worked with all sports. He has helped 12 NCAA Division I championship teams and he was worked with numerous athletes who have gone on to sign professional contracts. He has worked with athletics of all levels and sports, from youth to professionals.

     
  Brianna Worley - Performance Coach  
   Brianna is an Alumni of Brevard College and majored in Excercise Science with a minor in Business.  "Bri" played basketball while at Brevard and since graduating has done personal training at another facility and now is a speed coach for Parisi Speed School.  Prior to Brevard, "Bri" attended UNCA where she played basketball before transferring and finishing up at Brevard College. 
 
  Robert Hutchison - Performance Coach  
   
Robert a.k.a. "Hutch" graduated from Western Carolina University with a BS in Parks and Recreation Management along with a minor in marketing. He is originally from Brevard, NC currently residing in Fletcher, NC. "I believe there is an athlete in all of us so I train my clients with that mentality", says Hutch. He come from a structured athletic background having played or coached basketball for the past 40 years. He was a 4 year basketball player at Brevard High School, earned a basketball scholarship at Western Carolina University after walking-on to the team. So, facing odds and challenges are things he thrived for.  After college, he became Head Basketball coach at Brevard High School then moved on to be an assistant coach/assistant athletic director at Brevard College. While at Brevard College, he was head coordinator of strength and development for the men’s basketball team. Also, he had the privilege to coach at UNC- Asheville and the boys’ and girls’ basketball team at Veritas Christian Academy.
He has endured no serious surgeries throughout my athletic career but knows what it takes to rehab and retrain the body to be able to play at a high level again. His competitive sport playing days are indeed over. "With age comes the wisdom that you can’t always play like you used to, but with age also comes the wisdom to know how to take care of your body and look at training as a way of life" says Hutch. 
 
     

Michael Gaines - Director of Xcel Sportsplex

Michael attended Mars Hill College and was a Wide Reciever for the Lions from 1990 - 1995.  He graduated with a B.S. degree in Recreation Administration.   He has over 12 years experience in Recreation administration. 10 years was spent with the local YMCA where he served as a Sports Director and ended his tour the Y as interim Excecutive Director.  He has since been employed at  Xcel Sportsplex where he is the Facilities Director, Club Volleyball Director and a Performance Coach for Parisi.
