KeymasterHey everyone,
Our week 1 Coaching Call is with BILL PARISI this week! This call is going down on Thursday (9/8) at 2pm US-EST
1) If you CANNOT make this call…it will be recorded and sent out/uploaded to the dashboard.
2) Whether you can make the call or not, if you have questions for Bill, please pre-submit them below in the thread. Pre-submitted questions help keep the conversation flowing and I can better lump them together on commonality.
**With remaining time, typically about 20-30 minutes, we do an open QnA to those who are in the room. Bill is notoriously chatty, so pre-submitting any question is a really safe bet to get your question answered!

ParticipantBill & Casey, Can you post videos of your testing so we can see what they look like and how you score them? Thanks. I have an Arenagear laser timing system and the just jump mat to score sprints & vertical but Id love to see the 5 hop jump.

ParticipantBill & Casey, Can you go over recommendations of a proper 5-day workout split for athletes?

ParticipantParisi Team, Can we use your eval sheet that you sent us or do we need to be franchised?

ParticipantParisi Team, Im looking for suggestions on how to either dovetail speed training with our workout sessions(currently 2x a week on a Tuesday/Thursday) or should I use a separate day just for speed?

ParticipantIN the video that Casey presented to Vermont/NSCA he discussed a one day a week strength training session. Id love some insight on that. Is that in addition to speed sessions per week or as a stand alone due to busy schedule? Would you mind sharing how you price it?

KeymasterHey Coach – you can absolutely use our evaluation sheet, all materials we give you, we know you may want to implement…make sure to upload it in to Canva or another editing software so you can swap out our logos!

KeymasterI can absolutely elaborate on our 1-day a week in season strength training
Total session length: 75 minutes
*for our facility, this was on Sunday mornings from 9-1015AMMinute 0-10: Foam Roll
Minute 10-20: ADW with an emphasis on movement prep
Minute 20-30: Power development cluster of movements – Example: Med ball throw variation / core alignment / Force absorption exercise
Minute 30-65: 2 x total body strength clusters – Example: Squat variation/ Upper Pull variation/ crawling variation II Lower pull variation / upper push variation/ carry variation
Minute 65-75 (or whenever they finish the lift): Extended static stretching, breathing drill(s), and general cool down. The athletes really like this part, so we add it in.
**Not saying this is THE WAY, but this is the format that we use and have gotten major buy-in from both parents and athletes

KeymasterDan, great question on dovetailing speed with strength.
I think a great format looks like this…assuming it’s a 60minute session
ADW for 15 minutes
Mechanical movement prep related to the speed skill of the day for 5-10 minutes
Sprint or lateral movement application for 10-15 minutes
Total body lift with the remaining time – probably 1x lower movement and 1x upper movement and 1x carry or crawl…then do the opposite muscle groups on the second workout of the day
