Ward Melville Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach : 2013 National Champions & 2013 New York State Class A Champions
Parisi speed school. Jon Matzelle a former Ward Melville player ran the sessions. I was impressed with how prepared and organized these sessions were. Our players came into this season in great shape, this helped us get off to a great start that helped propel us to the state and national championship. The team really enjoyed working with Jon and we all feel this training was a very important reason for our success. I would recommend Parisi and Jon Matzelle to any team looking for a great preseason training program.
Abby Beltrani by Gary Beltrani
two-time HS All-American Field Hockey player from Ward Melville HS (Abby also plays Lacrosse in the spring) who is headed to Duke University to study and play Field Hockey for the Blue Devils
After training and playing for a week at the Olympic Center in California, Abby was selected to the U19 USA Junior National travel team and leaves for Chile on Sunday. After watching her play in CA and at Melville during her lacrosse season, I notice a level of speed that she did not have before. Abby and I attribute it to her winter workout regimen of which you played a major role. She has been extremely busy since her return from CA as she tries to complete schoolwork prior to her departure. I am sure she will reach out to you in the coming weeks. I truly appreciate the time and energy you put into training her this winter. Thanks for all you do!
Dallas Brett by Jeff and Denise Brett
We wanted to take this opportunity to say “Thank you” for the great experience Dallas had over the last three months at Parisi. Not only has he benefitted physically from this program, but we are most impressed with his attitude. We have never seen Dallas embrace an activity with such enthusiasm as he has with Parisi! For once, he has found something that he looks forward to going to and enjoys the challenge of. Although we have to take a break until his Sprint Track season ends, Dallas will definitely be returning in June. Thank you for everything.
Hey Mike! I just wanted to say thanks for all your help over the summer. Thanks to you, I started all 17 field hockey games and was never subbed out once, even with my shoulder injury, and I got the award for most improved at my field hockey banquet tonight (Dec. 3, 2010). Thanks so much!
President of Three Village Wildcats Youth Football
Hi Mike, On behalf of the Three Village youth football board I wanted to say thank you for attending our camp. Your coaches are 1st class and they made a lasting mark on all the kids who attended the camp. I didn’t know how it would all fall together but I can say without hesitation that it exceeded everyone’s expectations. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you guys ever need anything from us. I hope many of our parents and coaches see the value that Parisi Speed School brings to an athlete. I know I will be bringing 2 of my sons in for training with you guys after the 4th of July.
Elizabeth Garland by Todd Garland
Freshman at Dartmouth.
Anyway, the reason I am writing is because Elizabeth told me she wants to work out again with you this summer. She stated she was in the best shape of her life coming into Dartmouth after last summer. Here is my translation of Elizabeth’s statement…”I want to be the fastest girl at Dartmouth” and one of the fastest in the IVY league, and she knows she will get there via you.
Mary Ellen by Chuck Carron
Dear Parisi Speed School Staff at World Gym, East Setauket,
As you know, my daughter, Mary Ellen, enrolled at The Parisi Speed School almost three months ago with specific goals in mind. She was training to prepare for the New York State Selective Classification in order to play Junior Varsity Lacrosse as a seventh grader. Her major concerns were the 50-yard dash and the standing broad jump. Her scores prior to training with Parisi were 7.8 seconds in the 50-yard dash and 5 feet in the broad jump. Either of those scores would have precluded her from participation at the JV level.
Well, fast forward from December ’09 to February, 2010 – after attending two to three sessions per week at The Parisi Speed School and her time in the 50-yard dash went down to a 7.2 and her broad jump increased to 5 feet, 10 inches.
She not only passed the Selective Classification Test for Junior Varsity, but qualified for the Varsity level, as well.
Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication.
You guys are the “Real Deal!”
