(Video) Learning First Step Quickness At Home

Home » Blog » (Video) Learning First Step Quickness At Home

August 4, 2017 //  by Franklin Lakes

At the Parisi Speed School, we aim to provide as much information as possible to help your athlete succeed. Our coaching is so important, but this video on first step acceleration provides enough context to get started practicing at home, or continue your training while working with us.

The key with these starts is to simultaneously drive one knee forward, while extending the opposite leg completely. Athletes should focus on maintaining a 45 degree angle, while keeping both their hips and knees forward. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at [email protected]
