4.1 Your Vision and Mission

Truly understanding the vision and mission of your team training is a great place to start.  You might consider using a vision and mission statement like the following examples that speak to why you are passionate about your team training.

  • Team Training Department Vision Statement: Bring teams together to function greater than the sum of their parts through positivity, selfless sacrifice and a relentless drive.
  • Team Training Department Mission Statement:  In pursuit of improved athletic performance, we will provide a one-of-a-kind experience to unite teams, improve their athletic performance and strengthen their bonds as a “family” in order to achieve their goals as athletes, teams and leaders in society.

These are powerful statements and you might already have noticed that they expand well beyond providing drills to improve athlete performance.  This expansion is what has always set Parisi Speed School apart from its competitors and will set your team training apart as well.

If you don’t currently have a vision and mission statement for your team training, we encourage you to create your own or use ours!  The effort helps you, as well as others in the team training department, understand the scope of work and commitments.
