DB COMPLEX

Home » Blog » DB COMPLEX

February 26, 2018 //  by Parisi School

Are you running short on time? Can’t seem to fit in that hour long workout session you have planned on a consistent basis? Try using a DB complex for 15-20 min for AS Many Rounds as Possible if you’re short on time.  A complex is a series of exercises that is performed one right after the other using the same equipment and weight the entire time. Dumbbell Complex Workout is a great go to session to have in your back pocket whenever time and space are at a premium. It requires minimal equipment and set-up. However, do not be fooled! This workout is tough, but you will be amazed at how effective it is in building muscle and stripping body fat, while also enhancing overall conditioning/metabolic levels. When creating your complex be sure to keep the rep range from 8-12 reps per exercises and you can either use one or two dumbbells depending on how strong your grip strength is. Here are a few examples

Workout 1

  1. Push Press x8
  2. Farmers Carry x50yards
  3. Walking Lunges x10 steps R/L
  4. Romanian Deadlifts x8
  5. Supine Toe Touches x12

Workout 2

  1. SA Snatch x8R/L
  2. GB Walking Lunge x10R/L
  3. SA Carry x25yards R/L
  4. SA Bentover Row x8R/L

Workout 3

  1. Thrusters x8
  2. Curl to Press x10
  3. Push Ups x10
  4. Renegade Rows x8R/L
